Located at the East Coast Boardwalk in North Point, "The Harbour Portals" utilises the space underneath the Island Eastern Corridor to transform the harbourfront experience with a symphony of light and colour. This approximately 100-metre-long installation, was planned by the Harbour Office of Development Bureau and the Harbourfront Commission, and designed by local architectural team ARTA Architects. The signature installation can be clearly visible, whether you are strolling, cycling, or on a boat.

Inspired by the colour of the Victoria Harbour logo and the hues of sunrise and sunset, its diagonally arranged portals allow colours to dynamically overlap and separate, creating a vibrant spectrum, while its translucent mesh design seamlessly integrates with the surroundings. The mesh structure doubles as an adaptable canvas for art exhibitions and a social space with integrated seating and tables that frame the views of Victoria Harbour. At night, dynamic lighting transforms the installation, energizing the waterfront for all to enjoy.
