Why
Hong Kong’s wide range of housing typologies, from the past to the present, public to private, large to small, are juxtaposed in this heterogeneous environment that will neither conform to a singular typology nor allow any typology to become dominant.

The eclectic mix of housing units are able to develop and grow organically like trees on a mountain, free from any constraints and limitations to become whatever form they chose to be.

Vertical representations of the contours of Hong Kong’s landscape interspersed between the housing units serve as a reminder that greenery is intrinsically intertwined in our densely populated urban fabric.
